AxiomV CommsServer by RBH Access Technologies Inc. is the communications engine for the AxiomV access control platform. It maintains reliable, real-time connections between the AxiomV application and field hardware—such as controllers, readers, and I/O modules—across single-site or multi-site deployments. Running as a background service, it manages event delivery, command distribution, and device status monitoring, while queuing and buffering data to bridge temporary network outages and automatically restoring links when connectivity returns.

By centralizing device communications, diagnostics, and logging, AxiomV CommsServer helps isolate field traffic from client workstations and the database, improving overall performance, scalability, and resilience. The result is a stable, efficient communications layer that supports day-to-day security operations and simplifies maintenance for enterprise-grade access control systems.
